Guzzler NX Offers Auger Offloading Option (11/05)
STREATOR, Ill. (Nov. 4, 2005) — The Guzzler NX vacuum loader is now available with a Vertical Auger Offloading system. This new option provides controlled offloading of any free-flowing, wet or dry product. It's particularly well-suited for solid granular materials such as grains and pellets.
The Vertical Auger features an integral cone mechanism mounted on the rear door to funnel material through the auger when the body is tipped. The hydraulically driven,
mechanical screw-type auger rotates to convey the material out of the body and into receptacles and roll-off boxes.
Guzzler vacuum loaders tackle the toughest applications — from solids and dry bulk powders, like fly ash — to liquids, slurries and thick, heavy sludge. The Vertical Auger system also has a variable-speed feature to allow flexible offloading depending on the material being moved. The rotation of the auger can be reversed to free up material should a blockage occur. The Guzzler vertical auger is available with an optional isolation valve between the tank and the auger. This industry exclusive prevents materials from entering the auger when it's not in use, which prolongs auger life and saves time when decontaminating the unit.
The NX, one of three models (along with the ACE and CL) in the Guzzler vacuum loader line, also offers very low sound levels, enhanced fuel economy, increased loading capacity and the patented VR (Vacuum Recovery) Technology for greater productivity.
