LEEDS, ALA. (Sept. 8, 2016) – Federal Signal Corporation’s (NYSE: FSS) Environmental Solutions Group today announced that 10 FS Solutions centers within the United States now provide rentals of Vactor HXX, Guzzler and Westech vacuum trucks as part of the company’s commitment to increasing rental, product, service and training offerings to industrial cleaning contractors and other industry professionals across the country. This rental offering will expand to all 12 FS Solutions locations in the near future. FS Solutions will continue to offer rentals of Jetstream waterblast units.

Federal Signal’s recent acquisition of Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE), a leading Canadian-based distributor of maintenance equipment for municipal and industrial markets, enables FS Solutions to offer a wide range of truck rentals to customers for short- and long-term contract situations.

“Through JJE, FS Solutions now has a fleet of more than 400 industrial air movers, vacuum excavators and DOT-certified liquid vacuum trucks immediately available to our customers,” said Tony Fuller, vice president of industrial sales for FS Solutions. “For customers who require unique equipment for specific contracts, FS Solutions can build custom spec’d units to meet their needs.”

Fuller added that long-term truck rentals can be structured to offer customers convenient rent-to-own options, applying a significant amount of rental fees towards the end of the purchase price of the truck.
